In the late 1980’s Troy Caruso, a construction foreman in the commercial trades, recognized that there was an acute shortage of reliable and dependable interior demolition contractors able to service the needs of the growing commercial renovation industry on Long Island. Having witnessed first hand the negative effect this shortage had on the life cycle and budgets of renovation projects, Troy realized that this situation was avoidable. Thus, the inspiration for a new kind of interior demolition company was born.  

From its humble beginnings in 1990, Grandview Contracting Corp. was based upon the principles of exceptional service, accountability and reliability. Grandview Contracting quickly became known as the “Go To” demolition contractor who never says “No” and gets the job done right and on time.

Determination and experience fostered achievement, this in turn created the natural progression of expansion into related construction services.

In 1995 came Diversified Construction Corp., a demolition company affiliated with all appropriate major labor unions in the tri-state area, enabling Diversified to bring its high-end service to the largest renovation projects in the region.

In 1997, Diversified Carting Inc. made its debut. It brought not only a new level of efficiency and productivity to its sister demolition companies, but a fresh alternative for Long Island and NYC contractors who were dissatisfied with sporadic carting service.

In 2003, Superior Site Work, Inc. brought together some of the most experienced/talented people to offer a full range of site development services on renovation and new construction. Superior allowed the organization to now extend itself from prepartory construction services to a quality finished project.
